It was a beautiful late summer day when Danielle and Brandon tied the knot in a intimate backyard ceremony. With the special spot where they got engaged in sight they met under a whimsical homemade arch. The same arch that normally served as a swing set for their children.
But for this day it would serve as their meeting place at the end of the aisle.
Where they met with tears in their eyes and nervous smiles on their faces. Where they exchanged the vows they each wrote themselves before that magical first kiss as husband and wife.
Following their ceremony they and their guests spent some time getting priceless photos to commemorate the occasion.
Photos like this, of a great grandson getting to know his great grandpa. And a girl and her dog on the most important day of her life.
Soon it was time for the beautiful couple and I to sneak off for some couple photos. This gave them the chance to show off their silliness and absorb the moment together before returning to their celebration. The photos we created, so so special.
I was so happy to get to spend such a special day with this beautiful couple. My first wedding photography experience, and certainly not my last. Love is so worth capturing.
